    2010 Season

So what are everyone's thoughts on the divisions for next year?

For those that haven't seen it yet....

    SportingPulse Homepage for Sydney AFL

Great to see the revival of Auburn, but don't know how long they will be sustainable with few junior clubs in their direct catchment, and kind of stuck between Wests & Parra. Much more even across the board than 2009 though.

its lucky i have a company car with camden, norwest, manly in division two it will take longer to drive to there home grounds than play the game.Hopefully all three grades might get to play one round together this set up is a joke and will stretch clubs to breaking point cant wait for the draw.

How is it different to driving to say, Campbelltown, or Wollongong? Toughen up tiger, its footy. Thank your stars you don't play in the Central West league.

And it wouldn't matter, your twos would probably still forfeit a game along the way if the re-structure hadn't happened. Maybe more games with the hidings dished out.

I'd be asking your company to update your Morris Minor to one with a bit more grunt.
Takes you longer to drive to a game than play one? You obviously dont spend much time on the field.

It will only stretch the clubs to breaking point that are already close to broken.

Teams/Clubs seemed to manage last year ok.

It's quite easy otherwise - don't get relegated - or win the comp this year and problem solved

Interesting to see 2 Riverview teams in the Under 18's Challenge cup

They only had one in the premier 18's last year

Here's hoping they are competitive in both teams

Any interchanging of players between sides ??

Its allowed, same as last year with ECE and Penno

ECE and Pennant Hills had one team in Premier 18's and one in Challenge 18's

I wonder if there will be any restrictions as Reiverview have 2 teams in the same ccompetition

Clubs like Wollongong, NorWest and Camden would travel a lot further than Balmain; and we don't hear them complaining about it.

my point is that hopefully in the future all three grades play one club on the one day splitting clubs over different divisions is just creating football carnivals all over sydney you could have firsts in the gong reserves at camden and under 18s at pennant hills three sets of support staff/trainers.just seems unproductive and a waste of resources

i also believe that their wouldnt be forfiets if all grades where there supporting each other how would nor west cope with three grades going in three directions.have you never backed up your mates before and played two games.

Penno and ECE fielded teams in different comps. Should definately not be allopwed to happen. In juniors when a club has two teams in the same comp, they can only play for one or the other. Hope the league does the same with Riverview
