    Congratulations Campbelltown

Radlee Moller is a great choice.

I have had the pleasure of playing with and against him and he demands a lot of respect.

    Well done Pace.

It might be my calling to come out of retirement for a chance to play with Radlee.

Yes mate, won the league medal in the 18s, then played in two Senior Premierships in 94/95 then from 97 spent 4 years at Centrals and played in their first senior premiership then came back in 2001 i think and continued with us till the last two seasons only played a couple of games each season due to Family/Work commitments. He has not only been a great player but you also wouldnt meet a better bloke anywhere and has the respect of everyone especially the younger guys

Good luck to them this year, but what is the go with their junior club relationships?

Just received the 18's listings and noticed that the Blues have only listed a handful of kids from Camden, Campbelltown, South Campbelltown etc. Yet they have listed 17 from Blue Mountains, Penrith and Emu Plains. Thats seems to be a way to strain relationships with your juniors, tell them you don't want them !

That is a problem with having little or no junior numbers in the outer southwest not a club not wanting their juniors there is no numbers of note.
Juniors in this area and age group have dwindled to nothing to the stage where U16s have been playing 18s just to get a game. Sad but true!

I just thought it was strange that they have selected 4 or 5 players from the Razorbacks premiership winning side of 2009 yet left 16 of them off the list. Then they select 5 from Blue Mountains (who finished well down the ladder in the same comp).

From Springwood, where most of these kids live, it is a 130k round trip to Monarch. Twice a week for training and once a fortnight to games? Can't see them doing it, as they are just social footy players.

Maybe it was a plan to raid the West and assume that the local players would just go to Town anyhow. Will see what happens.

Well obviously you pick the best 30 players from your distict to ensure they cant be swayed to another premier div club. We have already spoken to 3-4 who have said they just want to play at Penrith and thats fine, it just stops East Coast or Uni poaching the best ones, and the travel would be no diff to either of those clubs for those kids.

How fortunate that Campbelltown has juniors from another club's area to poach then.

It sounds like Campbelltown needs to start trying to work on rebuilding the local junior base. It is not a good situation that a Premier Division club cannot field an Under 18s side from local juniors. Certainly they shouldn't have to go into another club's area to do it.

This has been happening in Sydney footy for years and years. Our club (Penrith) lose at least half a dozen of the best junior players going around every year. A. Richardson (Pen Hills), M Egan (Syd Uni) as well as scholarship holders with Collingwood and Carlton just last year. It is a really frustrating situation....

Are you for real mate? We have always had an 18s and have never poached players. We didnt ask for a pathway to be put in but if thats the rules you nominate the best thirty in the area. All it means is if the kids want to play premier div they play for us or they play lower divs for whoever they want. I suggest you get your facts straight before opening your unimformed gob
