Wasnt 400 but was pretty good cash, we chased him and he worked for me for a couple of months in the off season when we were trying to get him over, we offered him a good package (more than Saints) but he stayed to play with his mates to try to win a flag (got beat in the GF) cant knock him for that. Id say most of his mates must be gone or their paying him big cash. The bloke would be the best Full Forward and second best forward in the league if he comes back, def worth having and def worth some good coin.

I used to know the bloke, have played cricket with the bloke....If you really wish to know ask him.."He'll tell you how god damn good he is". Its obvious people will believe what they want to believe, as the one who did the deal for Peter and witnessed his contract, i know it was well south of $400. If he was selling himself to other clubs saying he was on more then good on him. I know when i go for a job interview i always bump up my wage.

I will be honest and say im disappointed Peter has left but life goes on, if i bag Peter then people will have a shot at me for sour grapes, if i say he is great for a team then people will have a shot at the club for not doing more to keep him.

There is pretty much a senior team of ex st george players running around in the sfl at the moment. A few years ago that would of really pissed me off but i know what the club is doing and is sticking to the plan very well. It may not pay off on field this year but in the next few years the club will be a force again and during this period worked hard to remain a strong club for decades to come.

The boys at work tell me the numbers are the best they have been in years & the guys who are there are there for the right reasons.
