How are the pork pies big fella?
Clearly you say this in jest as you require these kids to make a 18's side at Nor west. Let them play in the age groups until they are developed physically. Don't forget that any kid you develop will only be taken by ECE as you dont have the money to entice these kids like ECE does.

I'd have to think about how it could work, but the most important thing, as someone else said, is to have as many boys as possible playing footy.

Haven't actually had one yet. Surprised?
Nor-West getting an 18s didn't even cross my mind when I was writing this comment.
I think the discussion was regarding 16s to 18s and I could understand Hawkesbury (or any other 16s team) not wanting kids to play for Nor-West (or any other 18s team) if it was going to make them ineligible to play in their own finals, so it is a rule that needs to go or be severely modified.
It's no secret what happened to our 18s this year, we don't need to go into it again.

Very surprised & shocked actually, you haven't had a couple???
BTW the game of the week is is terrible with out you calling it. Are you coming back?
Can't believe how poor the commentators knowledge of players is & clubs other than East Coast. The bias is at its highest?

Thanks for the offer Junior, but no thanks. l don't have one gold or one blue eye too see the game with. That comedy duo that does it now must be paid heaps by ECE.

Good game today by all reports with Saints beating Penrith by 4 points out at Harrington Park.

I'm guessing that a few of Saints better players have probably been drafted in to the seniors this week, but nonetheless a pleasing performance by the Rams who were missing a couple of their better players as well against a strong Premier Cup team.

Thanks to St.George for being good enough to give our boys a hit out.

Good to see agame for the Penrith boys. St George coach not happy with effort or execution of those that played but they did have probably top 10 out and played with basically an U17 team. Irrelevant anyway as you can only play the team that is at the ground. Good for Saints, good for Penrith and good for the game to see cooperation between 2 teams at opposite sides of Sydney.

Great to see the Dockers get up in both grades today. Hope they can build on that and work to become more competitive for the rest of the year.

Who cares? ... how much have they spent to generate all of this "success" ... wonder how many juniors they could have developed with that money ... and news today (as warned) that Town couldn't field 18's again!!!

... and the tradition continues ....

btw, after watching them on the TV last night, would it be too much to ask for a new pair of shorts for Tim Schmidt .... surely he is not expected to run around every week in the pair he wore in u/12's

One swallow does not a summer make...

Fair play to them, it did look very dicey a few weeks ago so the leadership group there deserves credit. Agree that it is all pretty meaningless when you look at the money spent to generate that win though.

As an aside what on earth is going on at UNSW. A quick glance at the ladders shows their teams coming 8th, 10th, 10th and 12th and with downward trends. The could quite easilly join Balmain as genuine basket cases
