We're getting between 20 and 40 each night with a few new guys as well, which is historically excellent for us this time of year.
Appreciate your kind words, DLH. A bit off the mark about the punt though. After all, I have backed a few winners in recent times. Van Der Hum and Paleface Adios spring to mind
Thought I was a tad unlucky in the last world war when I got 5/2 about Germany. They were right in it for a long time.

Drove past the training ground on Tuesday, saw about 35 on the paddock. But I thought they were from the adjoining Eden Glassie Retirement Village doing some gentle Feng Shui exercises

Thought that was Pekay with his new Div 9 teammates?

I haven't backed a winner on the punt since the old trips to Richmond dogs in the early '90's, hardly in a position to comment.

From somewhat hazy memory, I used to find myself chatting to the odd unplaced favourite afterwards as well......

The Dockers had a pretty fair crack at four of the Campbelltown boys from what I've heard.

Wonder if they can maintain a 25% recruiting success rate around the other clubs, you'd think they'd be spreading their net far and wide.

Chad Fletcher gets a nine month good behaviour bond, no conviction recorded.

Heard he is now heading to Campbelltown.

But won't be taking the Brooks Rd Exit and will continue on to Canberra.

Floormat will be able to tune us in on who the Dockers are purchasing

Rumour has Campbelltown will be not putting any resources into 18's and Ressies, and solely concentrating on Premier Division. Hang on thats what they have always done.
Will you guys be paying up rego and insurance for the full year, or the half year option as in previous years?

Yet they still poach players from other clubs with offers of cash!!!

If this is the case, it just supports my position that we need LESS clubs, not more! ... it'll be $20 to park and $12.50 for a pie at Monarch in 2011, but no supporting fixture for the Prem Div game ... bit rich!

Sadly, time to acknowledge it's a lost cause and pull the pin.

ATTENTION ALL CAMPBELLTOWN AREA u/18's (and ressies for that matter)

Moorebank Magpies are a very pro-active AFL club in their junior development, have a fantastic facility at Rosedale (just up the highway). They also have a plan for the future, dedicated admin and coaches. Limited with their junior feeder clubs, but with an influx of some young talent, they could have an u/18's side to give the Challenge Cup a real shake, and then a promotion ... and they DESERVE the continued success!!!

Is that South West Sydney, or Moorebank Sports Magpies you are talking about, I can never remember.
