To the best of my knowledge but happy to be corrected.
With parents increasingly keeping kids back a year school wise most kids going forward will be 18 when they start Uni.
Not a huge concern for punters here but it makes it very difficult for the Unis to field an underage team. Not just for this reason but I felt that the U20 model was good for the SFA and would make it a lot easier for clubs to field an underage team. The VAFA still have U19s as their underage group so it's not too left fieldComment

I went in search of any gossip. Apparently Campbelltown have a list of possibles for coach. Still a little early in the coach signing process I take it as not all applicants have confirmed whether they are available or not. I hear Freney is on that list but is pretty busy at work etc so he indicated he's not available. But I guess J Hird said the same thing recently too!!!! One of the blues boys should be able to shed some more light on things.Last edited by Frog; 22 November 2010, 01:02 PM.Comment

The League have finalised the various divisions for next year, with an 8 team Division 5 being added.
Auburn have jumped two divisions to Div 2 and have added a Div 4 team, with Saints AFC having two teams in Divs 4 and 5.
North Shore and Wests have added third teams which have been entered in Div 3.
Penrith have been promoted to Div 2 and our 18's have moved up into Premier Cup which is great news and well deserved by all involved.
Campbelltown and Balmain 18's have both been placed in Challenge Cup.
It also appears that promotion and relegation will come into play in Premier Division from the end of 2012.Comment

What's the final structure of Div 2 since Prem and Div 1 are sorted out? Who's getting promoted and relegated?
