Spot on Norris. There is much less talk about stretching resources and teams playing at different venues on the weekend etc.
It would appear that clubs have adjusted well to the new structure and it's doing its job nicely by providing more balanced competitions.
There is a notable amount of new teams entering as well which can only be healthy for the game. I think Syd Uni have 6 teams now, Mac Uni have an extra couple, your Auburns and Maroubras, thirsty thirds have sprouted at many of the suburban teams.
The league should be congratulated for enforcing the divisional structure.Comment

We've got 15 unavailable this weekend. Honest.Jets always announce themselves as underdogs.
And in the next breath, broadcast that they love playing "Under the Radar".
They flogged Penrith by 100 in the trial. Hopefully the Rams can re-group and can keep them to about 10 goals on the weekend.
Enough talk though, time to head to the Greygums visitors change room to feed the roaches and rodents.Comment

Div 4. Penrith V Nor-West live from Greygums. Bloke wearing webcam on headgear and a mike transmitter coming out the back of his dacks will no doubt be BMR.
Look for the live quarter time rants from Pekay as he revs his half a dozen troops up.
But in all seriousness, I believe that the NEAFL game would be the broadcast from Blacktown. Big day out there.Comment

Very clever SHH, I'll give that one to you!
Yes, Norris, the game I'm being pressured to miss is the NEAFL showdown between the Giants at the Suns, Saturday, 12.15pm at Blacktown International Sports Park, which is the venue's new name, apparently due to copyright issues with the term 'Olympic'.
I'm yet to decide what I'm going to do."It's up to the rest of the players in the room to make a new batch of premiership players next year," Adam Goodes, triple Bob Skilton Medallist, October 7, 2011.

It's been quite a turnaround for Campbelltown's Under 18s - last year in Premier Cup they didn't win a game and forfeited several away games. They must have some better numbers down there, which is a good sign for their future.

The U/16's they had coming through down there last year with the Razorbacks were very good, so I'm not surprised.Comment
