A few hours of rain overnight & this morning and most of the grounds are closed. It's an absolute farce that makes Sydney a laughing stock in more footy-aware places.
It's not the league's fault, or any of the clubs - but these pathetic, namby-pamby local councils that are far too quick to put the closed sign up. By 2:00, the rain had stopped.
