I dont know where the expectations of a big announcement came from. The meeting last night was purely about whats happening in 2014 from a football perspective.

The right people are making decisions since the afl stepped in and told is to get ready fpr 2014.

The nutters have appeared to abandon the place but that could have been said anytime the last few years. We called for the egm two weeks ago and have heard nothing but crickets. The agm was due on 1/12 but there has been nothing.

We cant wait any longer, we are getting on with our preparations for 2014.

That's right Steiger - you can look at guernsey artwork, and vote for club captains, but there's not much more you can do until you here it from the people with the authorised signatures and access to the cheque book.

The new logo on the Facebook page looks good. I could see some benefit in a change for Balmain's branding - it would give the impression of a fresh start.

Again, a fresh start would be better than the impression of a fresh start. No clean break, no clear line of sight to a trouble free future.
