Any guesses for how long James Caica from UTS gets? Kicks the balls, runs up to the 17 year old on the mark and elbows him in the face in front of the ump. I'd have it as bad as the Linsen one last year. Did well when he came back on though, 2 turn overs and a 50.

All this in the 3rd quarter after another Bat got a yellow in the first 1/4 for striking. Can't make semis with 2 yellow cards a game.

This week's RWO Wrap of the weekend action is now online.

Sorry, no pics this week. Was at the Giants v Swans game on Saturday afternoon so didn't get to take any Premier Division pics.

Love to know what area he holds his "degree" in ... should have just walked straight off and started sorting his cricket kit for net practice, rather than coming back on ... 6-8 weeks would seem reasonable, and I doubt they would miss him anyway ...

Not a good look but from what Im hearing that will be at the lower end of some other incidents to come out of last weekend, If what im hearing is true there will be some pretty big penalties coming.

Yes I heard there was an incident in the East Coast vs Balmain div 1 game?

No idea what happened but apparently a young ECE player was taken to hospital with a broken jaw

Just heard some info from people from our club. Seems like bolt and Jarjoura up to their old tricks. Is bolt the most suspended player in the sydney afl?

Had to love the Div2 game down at Greygums as well. I am involved with Camden. We had a bloke king hit (again) behind the play and also one of our players racially vilified for the whole game, all within earshot of umpires, who proceeded to ignore or pretend they couldn't hear anything. Umpiring a disgrace and the grubs from Penrith even worse.

And of course you will be sparing a thought for the young Penrith player that is in hospital today having surgery after a very late tackle by one of the esteemed kittens who has seen a few tribunals in his day.

Losing teams often seem to overdose on the the bitter pills. Funny that.

                      A) What does it matter what age he is? Playing senior footy is playing senior footy.
                      B) Why do you leave out the incident that provoked the action? Sounds like he won't be throwing players into the fence again anytime soon.
                      C) Caica offered 2 weeks. Obviously not as bad as you make it sound.

                        A) Just wanted to show how tough he was.
                        B) Did anyone go into the fence? Certainly not any time near the incident. It might have been him that went into the physio table but when you have it against the fence it it's a metre from the ground accidents happen. That was the second quarter anyway by a completely different player with a legal tackle though?
                        C) Is that all? Would have thought double that.

... oh, so that was his name ... I was looking for "Coward" in the team list and couldn't find it ... may have been smart enough to cop 2 weeks, but I don't expect we would find his name on any honour boards down Ultimo way (unless the sanitation department has one).

And an interesting scenario for the Under 19's Div 2. All scheduled games resulted in wins by forfeit. So, going by the forfeit rules with for and against, it was :
                            Parra 0.0-0 def Power 0.0-0
                            Penrith 0.0-0 def Town 0.0-0
Wests 0.0-0 def Pennant Hills 0.0-0

There may need to be a rethink about how Under 19s footy is done. Div 1 is a good competition, but the number of forfeits in Div 2 has been a real problem this season. Some clubs have barely played at all this season.
