Good to see that the UNSW/ES are still able to use Village Green, despite all the heartache that was spent on here earlier on...Kelso with its wide open spaces will not be required this weekend.
Apparently the DA for the new development in the Uni precinct has hit a snag, or something, so it's yummy meatpies at the pavilion or else a walk down the lane to the Golden Arches this weekend.

Scores today? Dragons 3 from 3. U19s div 2 won by 70, div 4 96-8 and div 1 by 2 or 3 goals against team jarjoura.

Looks like in prems north shore lost to sydney uni. Any other prems scores?

Yes I wasnt happy the game didnt proceed however due to only 15 being available to play at 8.30am the coach felt he had no choice. It also resulted in another 30 who were available for div 5 at Rosedale missing out as it meant that game was also an automatic forfeit.

Seems to be some disjointed feelings at Gipps Rd if their FB page is anything to go by.

Their former, former coach Jorgo has been chipping in with his 2 bob on why they aren't winning, points to lots of in-fighting and on field internal arguments, posts since deleted. With their catchment they should've done a lot more since their last flag.

But who am I to sling mud? We haven't won anything lately.

Is anyone surprised? Why anyone would bring in Jarjoura is beyond me. Sure, he's a great target up front but he can't be good for the culture. Sitting in the goal square, abusing umps, late shots on small blokes. Even to the point where our club asked craigy to say a few words for Indigenous round, all the umpires lining up on the ground, both div 4 sides and our div 1 side. Parra? Didn't come out of the sheds. Heck, they even asked could they borrow a footy for the warm up since they didn't bring one.

I really liked Parra, they had us back into the club house after shiners 200th and were really good about it 2 years ago. Always were competitive and had some great games. I just think bringing in a bloke like Jarjoura is the wrong move if you want to move forward as a community club in div 1 especially.

Just saw their 19s are winless in 19s div 2. Whats going on there? Last year they were 15-2 with a percentage of 412...
