        Yes, unfortunately.
Hearing Luke Jarjoura left a 23 year old father to be out cold at Gipps this afternoon.
From memory he only had 2 or 3 weeks to get to his 16.
        Can anyone confirm this?

If this is case... police best... league should of dealt with him years ago. Why Balmain or parra have these last few years is beyond many.

If this story is true the club and league need to make a statement.

We just have quality in key positions. Div 1 stole 10 off us this week, had another 4 or 5 out injured. But guys like Lordo, Lach Perris, Macca and Dave Ryan are too good for div 4. But they only train intermittently so how can you play them in div 1 over guys who are there both nights and do a whole pre season. Does help having Nick Ryan get off a plane from America and come straight into full forward halfway through the second quarter. First time all 3 Ryan boys had played together.

Jarjoura only had 1 week to go before he got 16 didn't he? We were wondering if we would see him in round 6.

Tara, you guys going to get a side for div 4 next week? Its our past players day and a fair few of the older boys were stinging for a run in the forward pocket.

Went to a couple of games at Pioneers Park yesterday, not a ground I have fond memories of. Usually wet, cold and windy with some aggressive stuff happening. Yesterday was very different. Sun out, very slight breeze and great sportsmanship between both clubs. Got a win in Div 2 and a touch up in Div 5. Had a draft beer and a pie or two. Well done to the crew from Randwick on running a good show.

Yellow card for striking is an automatic reporting isn't it? And reported for striking carries 2 weeks?

Striking always a yellow. Suspension depends on report by umpires ie: part of body struck, impact etc. Can be anything from reprimand to life.

I wonder if 16 weeks for a life ban is too great a requirement for anything below Premier Division football?

It seems a really large amount of reporting to get in games with basically zero video monitoring, two field umpires plus or minus club umpires.
