Came up on my facebook. I thought divisionalisation was meant to end it but we have at least one every week. Teams folding mid year, a heap of mergers in the 19s. Then end of each year we get a speil about how good the league is going while they are pumping hundreds of thousands into supporting neafl and former nealf sides. I bet parra would love a tiny fraction of that to be able to advertise and get some players to the club rather than forfeiting, organising a scratch match and asking everyone to bring a friend.

You know footy is going great guns in western sydney when gws have a competition on which club can claim the most free tickets to their saturday night game v geelong. Most free tickets wins a jersey.

A draw in Premier Division at Mortgage Choice Oval. Been a while since we've had one of them. Makes finals calculations and ladder permutations just that little bit more complicated....

Couple of upsets in Div 1, particularly the previously undefeated St George.

Looks like Goannas haven't recovered from losing their star forward.

Looks as though someone has taken the mantle of cheap shots on young blokes of the Magic FB page is any indication.

The 17 year old kid that got hit won the Western Sydney 17s B&F last year and is just making his way in senior footy and this happens. Punched in the throat behind play by Parra #13 (Ill let you look who it is because I don't know him and wasn't at the game, but is what I've been told).

Dislodged vocal cord and 2 days in hospital for a coward punch.

Its must be an ongoing culture at Parramatta I guess.

Wasn't there and didn't see what happened, but if the incident is anything like it's been described then the bloke needs a long holiday. We have to get crap like this out of the game.

Parra to win only one from here and be in div 2 next year.
