Here's my "Don't-Poke-The-Bear" contribution for the week.....
It seems a bit unfair to me to being putting in your weekly tips and calling SydneyUni Prems as 'the NEAFLs".
Last week's Prem team was purely local Prem standard players apart from Mahardy who probably came to the club just to play NEAFL, has played NEAFL, and could easily play there again.
And the NEAFL team was purely blow ins apart from Krochmal who seems to step up from time to time. I reckon that the club has achieved its goal of running distinct teams.
And the NEAFL players who don't get a gig for the day, play down in our Prems comp and you've got to like that if they play for YOUR club.
Don't you PENNO and NORTH SHORE !!

The dreadful MUG PUNTER used to reckon that our best and brightest were being kidnapped into NEAFL, and now we have other punters thinking that NEAFL players are loading up Sydney Uni Prems.

Understand what your saying. What are the rules for NEAFL.
Is it that NEAFL have a squad of 32 and SU recruited 45 (As stated in other post)

It looks like this was written at 1am, after 10 cans, not 8.30am in the morning. Most of the sentences don't even make sense.
While you may support Syd Uni I hope you didn't go there!

The NEAFL squad is 47 and of those about 30 are eligible for Prem Div at Uni. Our PD side last week had five listed players - all students at the Uni and all under 23 - that had played a total of 7 NE games this season.

I would imagine that most of them study. Most of our young blokes do.

I don't think you understand how the scholarships work - first a student has to get into university, then they apply for one. It's not like college football or basketball where schools bring players in with the offer of a free ride. It's been a long time since I was at university so I don't know what a degree costs these days but most of the SUSF scholarships would barely pay for textbooks. Are there any Saints players studying at Sydney? Maybe they could apply if they're interested.

Goannas have forfeited their Div 3 game at Bensons tomorrow. Not good when your ressies can't rattle the cattle.

Don't they have a div 5 as well?

Surely the players haven't left with Jarjoura.

Their Div 5 team has forfeited the last at least 4 in a row. But to forfeit Div 3 as well is rather concerning for them.

Never good to hear. Best wishes to the injured player and hopefully a speedy recovery.

                              Not good at all.

Does that sort the top 5 then? ECE or UTS need to win by about 300.
