Just heard Div3 Parra and Div5 Randwick have forfeited both against Camden. Parra must be really struggling?

New competition structure will prob save them but that board would have a lot to answer for their 'only dickheads' policy.

It's interesting how many players UTS fielded in D5 in their win over Campbelltown yesterday that had played under 5 games for that side (which is all it takes to qualify for D5 finals)...

Similarly Wests last week against North Shore in D5 having players who had played premier division games this season (and plenty in the previous 2 seasons), one had even played 6 PD games this season

Who'd think division 5 is high stakes football, no wonder they are playing on the final sunday of the season!

I 100% get what your saying but with our 2 forfeits this year I saw no point in naming guys who would already qualify... a heap it was their only 2 games they "played" all year but might as well in case they decided to come back for a kick later on.

Gee that GWS branding sponsorship is working a treat isn't it?

Seriously, do they do anything except sling them a set of jerseys and then walk away? It is a really poor look for GWS not to mention a team that has been on life support for as long as I can remember.

Props to the div 1 umpires at mac uni. Spent more time watching water runners and making sure they came on at appropriate times with proper uniform than the actual game.

Spoke to the cats prez Jl before he was at that game said the umpires were fairly poor in that game, also made comment on St George missing a few in div1 few injuries?

I think someone said 44 injuries at the club. Div 1 and div 4 both played with 21 today, div 4 with a few u19s and a handful of guys playing their 2nd or 3rd game.

I guess if you have a niggling injury why play this week. Have 2 weeks off and get it right for second week of finals.

                  Some interesting calls were made...

I believe one of the Wests 2s players got married that arvo. So it was a matter of giving the wedding invitees a game in the morning and pushing up a bunch of div 5 players into div 2 that arvo to ensure they fielded both grades. Nothing sinister there. If you look at the ladder the win to div5 team was meaningless. The div2 team had a lot more to lose if other games went against them and they got absolutely flogged.

Was foiled by a database error last night, but this week's RWO Wrap of the weekend action is now online.

I don't see your point - Your club must be responsible for that - Check the rules
Your only water runner at the Prems game yesterday was wearing dress pants and shoes - Not a good look for a 1st grade game

As I said before - The clubs are the one's who should lift the standard

Better they do it on the weekend to prepare for finals, where it's pretty clear what they need to wear and only come on after goals.

True. I guess just upset they cared more about that stuff than getting decisions correct. That said, they prob get div 3 finals so doesnt matter as much.
