My son played for NS the last two years but stuffed the cartilege in his knee (at basketball) and now can't play ANY sport. He would have played against both of you. He played mostly at FB, CHB or Ruck.

Adnar, do you know Gav Marsh (U18 but playing with the seniors at Balmain)? He and my son played almost 300 games together at Pittwater.

I know a few guys in the U18s that play for the doggies (yeah i know they lose all the time). I played with them a couple of years ago when our U16 side finished and they all came to the U18s.

Names are Cameron, who used to play full back and Chris, whos a hard nut. Dont remember the rest of them too well cos I only played a handful of games for them.
Using hypothesis testing via confidence intervals:
Nick Davis mark inside 50 = goal

The uni team was a pritty good team, except for this one guy who was a huge cheap shot. Punched me in the head 3 times on 3 seperate occations for no reason. Didn't even open my mouth to him, players like that should be out of the game. Bloody loosers.

last sunday saw a good turn out at Greygums Oval for the 1st training run of Greater Western Power u18s,good numbers turned out player wise, along with senior players and supporters from Norwest Jets Penrith and St Clair.i was a founding member of Western Jets,a merger between Hawkesbury and Blacktown junior clubs in 1997,so can offer some help.we got beaten often in our 1st year as expected, just missed finals in 98 and won the flag in 1999(get that into ya all you Wests fans!!!) so these things have teething problems from the start, but if i had to compare the two,i'd have to say LOOK OUT!these kids are HUGE to say the least, they have a committee that has a focus on the western suburbs, support of 3 senior clubs(unsure of Parra yet) and Port Adelaide backing as well.im not saying they'll be world beaters, but like the Jets of 97-98,they will hit extremely hard and often.

His father told me he had a knee reconstruction (anterior cruciate ligament) but at least he'll be playing again.

                          That's right Pekay

The Greater Western Power Football Club was launched last weekend at Greygums Oval Penrith. We had about 25 out of the 33 who originally signed up interest, actually turn up. We are a committee who are committed to footy in the Greater West and we will be competitive next year.

i hear ya benny, its gonna be a hard slog, but in the past ive seen the Rams 18s and Jets 18s be close to the biggest 18s teams running around, its gotta be the water out our way mate, coz 99,00,and i think 01 18s flags went to Jets and Penrith respectively.so without saying too much,it should make for some interesting footy.ill see ya next wednesday, cant make tonights training.

i should add,99 2000 and 01 i was referring to div2 u18s,not to rob Penno of their kudos.although i can say this with every confidence,my 99 u18s team wouldve murdered Penno and any 18s team in Sydney at the time, thru sheer skill and size.anytime im having aq bad day now,i think back to that one day in september and remember how cocky Wests were, thought they had it won before the pill dropped.i can still see their faces now.anyway ex-Wests Magpies out there---the Western Jets are hard to beat when they come out to play!
