Pekay, I tend to agree a bit the Prince fella.
I played for Westbrook - back in the late eighties against the bombers, and we always managed to touch them up. Surely you could remember those days.
Moved to melb with the folks so never went onto play for the demons, but I do watch Lenny / Mcveigh (ex Penno) play pretty often, so they must have something going for them.

Why don't the bombers go n play for Penno or Baulko (sorry the Eagles), my take on it - if your good enough you'll make it.

Your good enough Pekay aren't you ?
I'm sure Penno / Baulko have started training for 05 so its upto you - get there and give it a whirl.

      Hey Ump's Friend

there is a club now in the Greater west. Why would Pekay go and play for Penno or Baulko when there is a club in his own backyard.

we are all entitled t our opinions, and those days were dark indeed for the Bombers, but once we moved to Quakers Hill, just before the population exploded,we came good.i played seniors at Baulko years ago,and from junior footy im not the most popular bloke there,so i left,Penno too far away, and the same reasons.dont get me wrong,i have many friends at both clubs, but couldnt bear to wear the colours.at present im registrar for Norwest,a club i am a foundation member of,so loyalty lies there.and if im gonna train 3-4 nights a week, ill go to play in a comp that justifies it.not bagging SAFL(after all,i play a division below it)but thats state league training for not much return.also Seven Hills and Westbrook are junior feeder clubs, not 18s.and as Benny W said, ill have a run with GW Power if/when they take off.

Why is there this misconception that SFL clubs train 3-4 nights a week??, I know that we train two nights a week & i know most clubs are the same.

Plus there are plenty of blokes who can only do one night a week and thats no dramas.

Is it the way SFA clubs try and attract players by bull****ting to them about how much they would have to train at a higher level?

probably because i was gonna do a pre season with East Coast last year when i was told that i had to travel to either Mac Uni or the city to train 3 nights a week and a beach session on sundays Shearer.obviously has done nothing for their finals aspirations.and SFA clubs attract players thru heavy drinking and kicking on in the clubhouse til sunday evening. no money just life.and i love cricket but its NOT FOOTY mate.

you know where to find me you Americanised puppet.
                    Pekay,

Can you just elaborate on what you meant by this statement? How did we all of a sudden end up talking about people's political persuasions on a footy forum?

Also - there is another Seven Hills Junior who can play a bit - Matty Arbon, currently at East Coast. Pretty sure he was from the Bombers originally. Although I suppose his career plumetted downhill when he left the Bombers too.

that was Princes reference to "Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh",if someone hits me,ill hit em back.i tend not to mention peoples names on internet for privacy,so didnt mention Matt.ive known him since i was five, and he would be far and away the best to come out of Sevo, played at Swan Districts,Sunday FL(Perth) and East Coast.i prefer not to mention friends of mine, seeing how you all want to jump all over what i say.

Were you at training last night.
We had another good turn out for this time of year and it was also good to see a couple of Norwest Jets senior players joining in.
