        a SYDNEY rep squad??!

interesting to read the squad for the Sydney rep team, very strong by the looks of it.but how many of these players have come through the Sydney rep system from juniors?Howarth,Livy, Richardson,Boers(possibly)and maybe a few more that i can remember....how many Sydney born and bred players are reps this year, and how many are from interstate?i know you pick the strongest team from the league, just curious to see where our local products sit in the mix.

more than 5-10 i reckon. 3 of the 4 wollongong guys are locals, and that still leaves another 40 odd in the squad.

I think you're right Henry. I count 18 that I'm 90% sure are Sydney bred. Not sure about born but know they played most footy in Sydney or surrounds (like Nelson Bay - Luffy). If everyone plays that's a pretty deadly squad I reckon. Will be interesting to see how they go against Qld.

It'll be up soon - I went out after the game at the SCG last night & didn't get home till very late, so I didn't get it written in time for it to go up last night.
This week I've got pics up from the East Coast Eagles v Pennant Hills game, in which the Demons jumped the Eagles early and set up a winning lead in the first half.

I couldn't get the score last night from the Holroyd-Parramatta v North Shore U18s, but I've just had it emailed through with North Shore winning 39.27 (261) to 0.0 (0). I think that would be enough to get North Shore through to A division, but I've heard a whisper they've changed the criteria for each division so I'm not quite sure who qualifies and who doesn't.

What was the standard of the ECE vs Penno game?

Who do you think shall be in the grand final this year?

Penno and wests are both looking hard to beat. Shall be interesting to see how ECE go this week.

Yep the 18's comp has changed. I think one of the teams who knew they would miss out kicked up a stink and the comp got changed.

east coast eagles after being beaten by pennant hills in the under 18's would have dropped down to the 2nd division 18's

north shores big win got them through on percentage

certainly not what the big spending eastcoast eagles would have wanted their 18's playing campbelltown, sth sharks, parra, and greater west every week

funny how u can change a comp the week before the final round

                                friends in high places?
