          Round 8

Still a couple to come back in but we will stick with developing the young guys at the moment.

It was only 2 goals in it at half time but Pennos class got them over the line by a good margin in the end.

              Pennant Hills by 10 goals.
              Wests by 15 goals.
Norths by 8 goals. Norths are looking better each week. The winner here will firm their premiership odds by a few points, the loser may be soul searching.
              UNSW by 20 goals.
              Balmain will enjoy the grog.

my goodness, did East Coast show up on Sat night?Much like Turvey Park of 87 IMO...ah well they'll bounce back.ill take Penno by 6 goals,Wests by A THOUSAND, Eagles have to win here or its chasing the pack from here on in,and can Campbelltown get their first win against the travelling Bulldogs?on the wide open spaces of Monarch-NO.Dogs by 10 goals. with Balmain having the bye in Premiers, will they stack their 4th grade team with former Jets for the trip to Bensons Lane against NorWest this saturday???

Pekay that would be a huge task for you guys if they did play some of there reserves against you guys! I see that you had another win on the weekend. Happily sitting on top of the ladder

                      Pekay - 14 (4)

Don't forget to get your tips - every week you miss, you get the away teams.

                      My tips for this week:
                      Pennant Hills
                      Wests
                      North Shore
                      UNSW-ES

Edited 24th May 10pm - corrected Johno64's total. From Round 7 thread was on 15, then 4 last week brings to 19.

got home and realised the magnitude of that post!! now edited,it should read former Jets...even so we'd give em a fair crack, there's still a bit of talent out here.. .was a great game against Uni,similar teams to what met in Div1 last year, much the same faces.played at a frantic pace in perfect conditions,no "Hawkesbury Doctor"to speak of,just came away with a well deserved victory. also got quite a shock at quarter time to see ex-Hawkesbury junior and now Port Adelaide rookie Dale Ellis watching the game with his father.even though he played most of his juniors at Westbrook, good to see he still acknowledges his roots

                            As for this week,
