geez,Bob McConnell would have to be a shoo-in for that, growing up thats a name i heard quite often, its synonomous with St George, and wasnt the Club Championships named the "Bob McConnell Trophy" a few years back as well?easy to give him a guernsey i'd think, without taking away from the other four nominees mentioned.

Pekay your right about the club championship trophy being named after Bob.

Bob was with the club for decades and also did a lot of work for the league & the swans. He was a true legend of the game in Sydney.

Thats the beauty of a Hall of Fame that it creates conversation on who should or shouldnt be in. Im sure Billy J will be in there in the not to distant future.

Is that Billy the trainer you speak of??? Is he a legend!! When did he play?? I just thought he was a legend of trainers not with the footy in hand too.

Billy played a few games in the reserves in the 70's when Saints

were short on numbers. He has dedicated his life to the club for

                over 40 years

                yes he is a legend
