    Chris Judd

i know many of u might not like to rate other teams players and stuff. Though first time ive seen him play LIVE *well what i can remember*

and he is just a freak of nature, hes amazing and hes only 21! First two quarters he was kinda quiet but boy did he get them right in the game

him or wirrapunda probably deserved the norm smith IMO.

Yeah and the scary thing is that was just an average sort of game for him.

He is going to be some sort of player in the future. I can't get over how quick he is. There were a couple of passages of play in the GF where he just accelerated away from the packs and the chasing Swans players were left clutching grass. Amazing talent.

It was going to be but Sony had to bail out the developers at the last minute with a decent cash injection plus a distribution deal, so at the moment it is on ps2 only.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I thought Judd was great in both QF and GF, however, I attended the GF with a West Coast supporter and they thought the Norm award was wrong (as did a lot of non-swan supporters I spoke to)
                    1. shouldn't go to the losing side - don't I agree with that
                    2. he racked up disposals but his usage was really poor
                    3. his 2nd half was very ordinary and his influence came to nothing whereas Fosdike/Buchanan/Hall/Barry did influence outcome

Love to see Judd in the red and white - he's is a super-freak!

he's unbelievable considering his age and its scary to think that he'll probably get better

                      just awesome to watch

He is super fast and that is at least one thing that won't improve with time as an AFL footy player.

The Weagles have a number of Rolls Royce players in their side with Judd arguably the best of them. You would think that they will be there or thereabouts for a few years yet. The great news is that we beat them in the Grand Final (and gave them a massive scare in the Qualifying Final) despite them having these players on the paddock proving therefore that we were the Rolls Royce team!

It's the balance aspect of his style that fascinates me. It let's him go from 0 to whatever with just a few of those amazing short steps. As much as I dislike Buckley I would still rate him as the best ball-user. Combine the two..what a concept.

I certainly agree with point 2. Yeah Judd is quick, but he runs around in circles and needs to learn how to kick to a team-mate. I wasn't very impressed with seeing him live for the first time, when I watch the DVD of the GF I also noticed that he's a bit in the Kevin Bartlett mould, stands on the fringe of the packs calling "give it to me".

Yes he's good, but in my opinion he's not as good as the channel 10 commentators make him out to be.

That goes for his mothers singing too
