You could say that Doyle is our best ruckman since Ball left. His performance when he's on the field suggests that. But we have to accept that he is unlikely to play much before the next injury.

Goodes may occasionally be allowed to ruck - as does Baz - but I'll bet my house that you won't see him as our regular ruckman again.

Go Swannies, interesting therory that the swans wish 2 part with their best ruckman. doyle has been in red & white since 2000 yet at no time has he ever held top choice as ruckman. should doyle show potential, it's far 2 late in his career 2 bare fruit. goodes is a much more effective ruckman, as suggested by his 2003 brownlow winning season. risk of injury prevents him from returning 2 the position permanently, however with the dearth of talls at the swans it seems he will contest bounces at some stage (4 most) of 2006

I thought it was clever enough. But with the easy modifications of "Aceman" maybe a bit brave.

Considering the changes that the fans were calling for vs the changes that the team has made, accusing the Swans of lack of loyalty suggests no real knowledge of the club. Think Heath James, Doyle, Saddo, . . . Stewie. We do seem to stick by our own. And the team gets loyalty in return. That's why I bet Pebbles is just negotiating, not considering his options. As Kirk said, the players are bound by the premiership forever.

And we seem to impart that loyalty to players coming into the team. On the night of the win I asked Darren Jolly how he felt about the move from Melbourne now? He just smiled and said "where?"

But GS, how could you have that information? You're just a bandwagoner like the rest of us here.

That's why I know that all AFL players come from Melbourne.

let me restate i haven't singled out doyle's commitment 2 the swans, but simply put 4ward that 2days players switch teams a lot & as proven by my lists r 2 a large extent disloyal & money-hungry. claiming that doyle is the no.1 ruckman at the club is plain wrong & can't b supported by any stats filter. injury risk or not goodes is still a more effective ruckman. while i haven't spoken 2 any players in person as u have & 4 all i no doyle is a nice guy, it has 2 b said doyle is not among the league's best big men & his career at the swans has been a clear disapointment. the addition of chamber is a sign the swans powers 2 b agree with my sentiments

The question isn't 1 of whether 1 can read it but whether 1 can be bothered.

That might be the question in your neck of the woods!

I'd just like to go on record as saying that Chambers will probably be a bust and won't see the year out in Sydney.

As per Laurence Angwin he will start haunting Internet messageboards under a clever name like ROK Lobster.
