This year I tried to buy one and after several phone calls I ascertained that at this stage they are not selling ANY guest passes for the members area! The Swans are trying to sort it out with the SCG who are apparently the problem.
Reading this and a phone call from a fellow member last night kicked me into action, as I need to get a GP for my wife for the Sundy arvo games. 2 separate calls to the Swans today both gave me the same message. There will be a very limited number of Guest Passes for the SCG Members area this year. The earliest they are likely to go on sale is "mid next week". I would suggest you try ticketek then.

Mocoholic - Essendon choose to have no General Admission - here's a copy of the email from the Melbourne office. These prices are for Vic based members, so the price is on top of your membership card. There is no standing room area at the Dome its all seating.

Please find below the ticketing arrangements and prices for the Round 1 Swans vs Essendon game at Telstra Dome.

As previously communicated this is a ticketed event which means there is NO GENERAL ADMISSION AREA therefore you NEED TO UPGRADE TO A RESERVED SEAT

Tickets for Level 1 and 2 have gone on sale today (27/2)

      Level 1 - $22.50
      Level 2 - $32.50

Level 3 seating goes on sale on Friday 18 March

Rows A - L on the wing will be $16.50

Rows M - Z and the sections behind the goals will go on sale on for $3.10
Alternatively (pending on availability) these sections will be free of charge on the night of the game

Please contact Ticketmaster on 1300 136 132 to reserve your seat

This bit is not true. My kids tickets were only $7.60 for level 1.

You were lucky. I had to pay full price for a concession on level 1.

$3.10?! That must be a typo Cher, surely?

For members, that is the price for level 3, whether you are a Swans or Essendon member, you have to provide your barcode number. If you don't have membership then the price is more. So that's where we will be sitting.

Swans are 3rd on the ladder after round 1 behind Adelaide and Geelong
Hmmmm ... Being as Swans as they come, I won't disagree with common sentiment that we will win ... I'd put a conservative 11 points on it ...
But third on the ladder after round 1? Behind Adelaide (playing the colliwobbles at TD) and Geelong (playing the Lions at SS) ... I don't think that will be the case ...
Judging by the loud thumping sounds I can hear coming from Geelong, I think this is one prediction I got right.

You missed out on the Rocket Dogs though. bris sounded as though they were ordinary, and the Cats sounded scarey good.

I did indeed and I was wrong also with my team selections. Good thing I had no money on it

Credit where it is due, Ball plus two others was pretty much spot on.
