Bringing one youngster in at a time can probably be managed but the team would struggle big time if there were more than a couple on which the midfield relied, especially early in the season with the likes of Crouch not as fit as they might like to be.
McVeigh is the one who should have been in the system long enough to have a strong enough fitness base, plus he seems to have naturally good endurance too.
Spriggs could yet play an important part in keeping the team's head above water in the first half of the year.Comment
