There's nothing wrong with Newcastle itself, its the people who live there that are a worry.

Dempster (hamstring) remains doubtful and Bevan (hamstring) questionable for round one at Telstra Dome, and Kennelly (shoulder) is scheduled to return in round three.

I didn't think Bevan would have had a look in even if he was 100% fit with the good form of the other youngsters in the pre-season.

The ground is on the corner of Union and Parry St, Newcastle. The best way to get there without a doubt will be by train, as the parking aint much chop.

Directions by train/foot: Get off at Civic station, and head for the exit on the city side (i.e, go over the rail line- you don't want to end up at the foreshore!). Hang a right out of the station and walk along Hunter St until you get to Union st (about 400m). Turn up Union st, past the Panthers club and keep going along Union st until you get to the ground (about 2-300m).

By Car: Heading up the F3, take the Wallsend Exit and follow that road along until you get to the round a bout at the top of the hill at wallsend. Turn Right (this is Newcastle Road). Keep going straight ahead for 10 KM. When you go past a whole heap of car dealerships you will come to a set of lights. This road is called King St. Turn Right. You are now heading towards the centre of Newcastle. When you get to McDonalds- Turn Right.

Look forward to seeing a travelling Red and White army tomorrow.
