Geelong and Bulldogs peak too early.

Geelong looked good, but more than that Brisbane just looked like a complete rabble.

Not quite the rabble Richmond did last night though!!

I missed last night but am watching Lions now. A lot of talk about back to best. Seems like they picked up right where they left off last year.
Nice goal from Bradshaw then tho'

Nice to see that Ben Fixter made the Rd 1 22. 8 disposals, 3 marks, 3 tackles and 3 FA.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Well I went to the same high school as Mitchell Clark in the same year, not a bad effort from him in his first match but the Cats clearly outclassed the Lions.

Looks like the Lions era really is over.

Every sport is cyclical - a dominant side can only go on so long at the top; especially with the way AFL is set up with the draft, salary cap etc.
