Jolly was just as terrible. Both clearly beaten by a spastic in Hille.

Torture was alright last night. He will be okay against a team with only one solid ruckman. He will struggle next week against Lade and Brogan.

Indeed wyatt's a little slow in getting onto the anti-chambers bandwagon ~ some of us got seats early (at the Nth Sydney games I'm sorry to say) and have settled down for the season.

          Nico, Gold Medal Question!
I admit I'm an Earl fan, so I'm biased, and I would never advocate throwing a young ruckmen to the wolves by playing him as first ruck. And I am mindfull of team balance issues but I do not think the idea of playing a 19 or 20 year old (Ericksen) ruckman should be rejected out of hand.

With Ball helping out as Ruck coach, a player that got the absolute best out of himself, passing on tips and tricks and working with these guys, hopefully all of them will improve, Chambers included.

First of all i reckon that Jolly was pretty good around teh ground on sat night. Second, whilst i dont want to write Chambers off, i reckon Doyle will be the one to fill the role this year. IF he can stay fit, he would even challenge Jolly for first ruck (with some game time up his sleeves)...

I saw both Doyle and Chambers play on the weekend. Chambers showed little while Doyle played OK against poor opposition. I think that Doyle offers a lot more potential than Chambers. At his best Doyle can be damaging, particularly, hovering around the forward pocket with a few bursts on the ball.

Im with Nico on this one. Earl Shaw has great potential i think. He was damn impressive in some of the Reserves games i saw him play. A bit of a "watch this space" player for the future.

The jury is still deliberating on Chambers, but please peoples, lets not compare with something as useful as an inanimate carbon rod just yet
