All got stolen in 1981 during the fight to move the club. Someone who sided with the KSAS group (they have never found out who) raided the club at some point during "the war" and has kept them for "safe keeping" ever since.

So yes they ARE out there, but the club doesn't have them and will most likely never have access to the originals again. I think the AFL gave us replica's a few years back, but the club decided against displaying them.
    Once was, now elsewhere

Oh. Did I say that last bit out loud?

All ispirational, untill the last two, especially the last one!

      Was that necessary?!
That's the problem with modern day medicine - there's no more natural selection of the species.
No wonder there's so many Collingwood fans.

I would wave my red premiers flag around and stamp on the ground while crying and thinking about Ryan O'Keefe. But then again, if we lose, I'll also cry...

The replicas have been hanging in the Swans office at the SCG for a few years now.

Well done Craig Bolton for getting the co- captaincy in 2008.

Your determination, your tenacity and your under-rated skill is why you have become my favourite player!

I was at the office today and was told that the reserves are playing a bit earlier so they can televise the unfurling of the flag before the game.

Indeed - and from what I understand there is a rather large quantity being produced - so those of you who are lucky enough to get their hands on the biscuits - dont forget to thank Erin and Bec for them.

Ange, Tammy & I (the original unholy trinity) will be up in the stand - Tammy much thinner than she was at the GF thanks to the timely arrival of little Zac Joseph, we will be sipping a 2001 "ribena" and will toast the boys, the flag and another AFL season.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

To me, the flag doesn't have nearly the same effect as the silverware. But then again, I treasure the moments far more than anything tangible like a cup. So if I lose my marbles, I'm screwed.

I'll wait to Round 3 when South Melbourne unfurl premiership flag no. 4 in Melbourne, the home of the Bloods.

And I'll beam with joy and go numb I reckon.
