    Just re-read it...
Whilst we were beaten in every single department of the game on Saturday, I thought I should mention the players who did not look beaten.
Beaten in every single departmentof the game
Lovatt was miles from Goodes for most of the night and it was only in the seco0nd half that Goodesy made anything of this. Till then he was just beaten to ball over and over.
It was only in the second half that Goodesy made anything of this...

I could go on, but I think you may get the point that I did read the post properly and commented accordingly from what I saw. There is always room for people to have differing opinions.

I think some people are making an awful lot out of a mole hill. The first quarter they were more switched on out of the middle and their clearances kept hitting Lloyd, or he kept convincing the umpire he deserved a free. Then out of desperation we kept going too hard at it in the middle and started giving away frees there too (mind you the umpires got on the Bombers bandwagon a little by then).

Once we had shaken off the cobwebs a little, we righted ourselves and beat them by 14pts over the next three quarters. Hall was awesome but still has a lot of improvement for the year. The momentum swung toward us and that bodes well. We lost the game eventually because our skills were still rusty. A lot of turnovers and bad decision-making in the last quarter cost us pretty much all of their goals, and similarly prevented us from kicking the three to four goals that would have given us the lead and possibly the game.

I agree with you about the last qrtr. We had many opportunites to kick goals but at times took the first option rather than the best option. I should say though, it is easy to say this when we were sitting in level three above the forward pocket, it's really easy to see all of the options from up there.
