I doubt very much if Mathews will be dropped, and probably not Chambers either.
My guess will be just McVeigh plus any injuries.

It would be unfair to single out McVeigh for our current woes.
Macca needs a decent run in the seniors rather than being the first to be dropped everytime.
IMO Crouch and Mathews need a wake up call.

Out: McVeigh, Schneider and Chambers or maybe give him 1 more week.
In: Malceski, Spriggs and Shaw if Chambers goes out.
Malceski was a class above the others on Sunday and he is a brilliant footpasser and I think if given 5 games in a row would cement a position.
Spriggs for all his foibles gets the bloody ball and runs hard - we need that at the moment. He is tireless and might be able to give off a few handballs to better disposers of the ball.
Yeah Macca and Schneides are unlucky but something has to happen.
I was impressed with Shaw's reading of the game and he is not slow either - heh give him a chance and see what happens as Doyle will be no. 2 when fit.

All true, but have you ever seen this happen?

Crouch! Wake up call my arse!! The bloke was voted best on ground through the finals last year. What does he need a wake up call for. I'm pretty sure he knows exactly what is required. Sure he didn't have the best of games yesterday but this bloke deserves every oppotunity to find his PREMIERSHIP form.

2 shockers in a row. If he's not match fit then he shouldn't be playing.

2 shockers (i wouldn't call them "shockers") in a row and the 3 before that, near best on grounds. Not exactly form to be dropped for. He'd be one of the last i'd drop. Plenty lining up befor him.

So why are'nt you calling for Kirk's head as well.
As for dropping Schneids and Macca - how much difference will that really make? Truth is our middle tier players are playing okay - our top line players are playing dreadfully. But as we all know they will never drop them so stop even contemplating it.
And the man who started it, the Schneiderman, can kick his third for the quarter. And the swans are in the Grand Final!
It's been glossed by the club but the premiership players are at least a month behind the rest of the competition as far as fitness work goes. There is no substitute for hard work in the pre season. So I won't be slashing the wrists just yet. If we jag wins against Carlton and Melbourne(not impossible) then I think we will be up and running in time for the blockbuster against Geelong.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

I dont know why they keep experimenting with him out of his best position. Leave him there to do what he does best.

I don't eat animals since discovering this ability. I used to. But one day the lamb I was eating came through to me and ever since then I haven't been able to eat meat.
There seems to be some obsession in trying to turn everyone into a midfielder.
People complain about rules changing the game, the one that has done most damage is possibly the increase in the interchange to 4 players. It has created this hard running, flooding, rotating, possession style of game that we didn't see before the bigger interchange bench.

What's wrong with Vogels? Is he injured? If not he should be straight in the team. He's big, quick and smart and can play either end. Fixed up a couple of full forwards in the practice games.

He played yesterday, though there is some suggestion he came off injured part way through the game.
Up to that point he was mediocre at best. Problem is, he is one player who I don't think is going to develop much in the ACTAFL - slight contradiction to the long post I've just made in the 'Reserves' thread. We do need a big body in defence and he's probably the only option.
