    Rnd 3 v Blues

Waite and Lappin may miss this weekend.

    Blues Injury Worries.

I remember saying to my father in-law just a minute or two prior to first bounce that with Port without Wanga's, Tredea and Francou that I'd be diappointed if we didn't win by 5 goals or more.

They could take out Fev., Stevens, and Betts, it won't matter a bit if we don't up like we haven't in the last couple of weeks.

I would honestly be happy with a 1 point win. I think the boys need the feeling of winning again to get their confidence back up.

yeah i agree for sure. i'm glad the game is at the dome as we seem to play pretty well there. i'm not sure of our record but i'd say it'd be around 65-70%

If you had to take two players out of that Blues side as an opposition coach you would select both Lappin & Waite.

Lappin is crucial to their structure as he is their best ball user coming from defence.

Waite has been in fantastic form as a quick roaming forward which has allowed Fev to play closer to goal.

Our record against Carlton is important too. They haven't beaten us in this century.

                    Our record is 8-1-8.

However, from 2003 our record is 5-2.

I'm looking forward to this game, I'm keen to see

*if LRT will get Waite, and if he does if he can stay with him all day
*if Davis can continue his good start to the season.
*if they have done any obvious changes to the midfield setup
*if our midfield can lift at all
                      *if Hall bounces back
*if Mick can stay involved in the whole game
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

#7- Hayden Kennedy (VIC), #14- Jason Quigley (VIC), #22- Stuart Wenn (VIC)

I thought Kennedy retired last year?

                            hopefully 100% after saturday night

i guess i was a little off on our record but we've had some bloody good wins at the dome - one of my favourites was against richmond in 2000 (i think) and magic was brilliant at the end. who can forget luffy waiting for the ball to bounce up in the square only for it to trickle through for a major

but we've had some heartbreak as well - alessio
