I reckon Chambers is going ok

Seriously. He gets his hands on it in the ruck. Ordinary below the knees but he is going ok. Let's face it, we are getting better value out of him atm than the lean streak of pelican @@@@ they call the Donkey.

I agree that he at least is getting his hands onto the ball in the ruck.

Are all compairing him to Jason?

Whilst I agree that a few kicks and hand balls around the ground would help the team. I feel that he is a long term prospect. Did you see that after match chat that he was getting and he was paying attention.

    can improve and will

    Give him time.

Doyle to FF and play 3 talls is not far away

From what I hear Geelong just worked on his ruckwork and nothing else at all, which looks pretty clear watching him play. I was under the impression that he was given 3 years by the club and the first one would be spent running around Canberra playing in key positions to learn to find the ball and be a back-up at best this year to 2 senior ruckmen. Which is probably a little naive to swallow considering nobody -really- thinks Stephen would play 22 games this year anyway.

It means Jolly can sit down for a breather and Chambers at least makes a contest. He is averaging 7.3 hitouts.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Hey Stell. If he got drafted by Geelong you would think someone in their recruiting dept would have at least noticed thay he could kick a footy. After all is football. So as far as the rest if his game goes he must shown something as a junior.

ROK, what would you call going bad?

Just found he comes from Melton South, Dr J will love that ditty.

He actually doesn't play like a Melton South player, I wish he did!

I was thinking that too, Adam is not exactly impressing me on a flank at the moment. So perhaps after taking the centre bounce send Jolly deep forward against Melbourne, and give Goodes a run on the ball.
We know Darren can take mark and kick a goal and Adam has always looked more revved up when in the ruck.
I still think we should keep Torture in the team against Melbourne (Donk and Earl didn't play last week) but if he doesn't get a kick soon I think we should blood Earl.

We should use Chambers the way the Bulldogs will probably have to use Street. Bang and crash at the centre bounce to protect Goodes and give Jolly a break, and that's about it.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

Bloods, I haven't seen anything to suggect he has bang/crashability in the ruck.

He seems to give a contest and it protects the other players from having to do so.

Nevertheless 'Bloods, I shall watch the reserves carefully this week for signs that either Donk or The Earl are ready to go.

I would prefer one of those guys, but if they're not ready then he's our best bet as a backup centre square ruckman.

I am gentle by nature...but in the absence of something somebody isn't saying...as opposed to what we clearly see...this guy is the greatest lemon of all time & we should be ashamed of recruiting him. If he manages to contribute at some point I'll apologise...but don't count on it any time soon!
Frankly I can't believe how nice some of you are being...the day of grace is not over.
