Jeez we have a lot of work to do. People who said we wouldn't make finals this year and we were lucky last year and couldn't repeat it, must be laughing, and justifiably so. Not only are we losing, we are doing it against ordinary sides and playing crap football. Lot of work to be done.

On the plus side, Schneider played one of the best games I have seen him play.

How did the bloody umpire miss the trip on McVeigh? Was he shot from the grassy knoll or did he just fall.

            Pathetic.
Well if it wasn't a trip, must have been shot how else could you explain it.

and yet people defend his spot in the team...........

On a brighter note, we as a team played our best match of the season, we got alot of the ball but allowed Melbourne to win via some pretty poor use of the ball going forward and letting Yze, Davey and Robertson do as they liked. A @@@@ poor start to third term didn't help and some umpiring that wasn't paid both ways again cost us dearly. We nearly got lucky and we go away with a loss but today we showed that we are at least nearly hitting form and with Tadhg back in at least we close to 100% team wise.

Good to see McVeigh and Malceski also put in good showings, pity about their last two shots at goal. Ripped off for the first and unlucky for the last. Also good to see Unco get possessions. Hall and Magic need to really pull the finger out and impose themselves on matches more and for the love god - O'KEFEE AND GOODES JUST DO SOMETHING. Agree that Schneider and Buchanan played well. But thats pretty much it. We lost a match we should of won and frankly we are now 1-3 because of some lazy footballers who need to move onto 2006 from 2005, like some of the fans on RWO, who no doubt will defend "their boys who brought them so much joy in September"

Wasteful kicking (O'Keefe) probably cost us as much as anything.

Malceski must stay in now, 18 touches and probably one of our better players. Unlucky on the last kick mate, a lot of pressure on him and hasn't played too many games.

Jarred McVeigh whilst got himself into play a few times, just is a poor decision maker and not big enough for AFL football.

Schneider was pretty good for most part, Kennelly definitely added something to our run and did very well for a bloke who has been injured for the past 7 weeks.

Ablett, useless just a bad decision maker and shocking kick.

O'Keefe, go and learn to kick FFS.

Crap handball, but he made just one mistake for the game and did really well on Jonhstone. We should never have let it get to that point.

O'Loughlin played the worst game I've seen him play.

Chambers was NOT useless - thank God - if Doyle is injured he'll get a few more weeks to build confidence.

None of our captains did much today but that free against Leo at the end was total crap.

I agree on most of this. O'Keefe's kicking was terrible and in the last minute or so when Hall had all that space and was one-on-one against Miller, O'Keefe kicked it to Miller's side!

Ablett adds very little. Just throw it on his boot and doesn't think.

McVeigh has lots of skill, but just doesn't seem to able to use it at this level.

Malceski was good. Disappointing miss at the end, but otherwise did well.

Yep, Mathews was good on their best midfielder - he slaughtered Johnstone.

Malceski looks the part - don't drop him for the rest of the year - he's a player.

Schneider did well but playing in the backline will depend upon matchups for him.

Seems with ROK he is rushing the kicks, a couple of times he could have steadied himself but he just turned and kicked and it goes OOB on the full.
