Ted Richards was OK on the weekend. He was doing fine in the first quarter / half until he was moved because one of his teammates wasn't doing his job.

It can take some time before a new player settles into the game style of his new club. Craig Bolton didn't become the player he is now overnight.

Reckon we should give Richards a bit more time before we confine him to whipping boy status.

He was outplayed by Mooney on Saturday night, but he wasn't on his lonesky there. And he wasn't really recruited as a gun FB. If he had been, he'd have cost a whole lot more than pick 19. I'm willing to bet he will prove to be a better value pick-up for Sydney than Jon Hay will be for the Kangas.

Is that a rhetorical question? Because the moral equilibrium is disturbed unless we have someone to bag.

Early days yes for SuperTed yes, but gee there are some bad signs - I can't think where we'd play him. Not strong enuff or tuff enuff for the back line; too soft & apparently can't kick a set shot so the forward line won't do either.

Hope he does come good but personally I'd prefer to see Vogels getting a chance.

I thought at first you meant you wanted to see Vogels get a chance to be the hack and get bagged!

get him in there and give him a chance to @@@@ it up like the rest of the hacks. Hacks should get a fair go and then get bagged accordingly.
