I agree. Put Schneider where he can be most damaging, on a half forward flank doing the crumbing and peppering the goals. He is a bit of a hog, loves to kick a goal himself, but as we saw in the final against St Kilda when on song does have the potential to change a match.

With him it is just a matter of being given space to run and a bit of confidence.

I actually think its a good idea.

Many on these forums have been annoyed at our lack of run out of defence. Why not have a skillful, fast player who can carry the ball through the midfield and deliver to a target.

I thought Schneider played his best game for the swans last weekend, playing out of defence. We currently have only Kennelly that provides that sort of dash.

There are far too many trying to take up space in our forward line as it is.

I thought it worked pretty well. Kept Davey relatively quiet and gave us some good run from the back line. One of our better players on Sunday.

It has improved his endurance and understanding of the game, in addition to providing the run out of defence with Kennelly out of the side.

With kennelly back he should be playing at least half the game up front I'd have thought alternating across half back and half forward.

I didn't mind him down back esp half back. He provided great drive and run in the 3rd quarter when we finally decided to go through the corridor quicker.

Definately one of his best games last Sunday.

It's just a little thing but maybe he's not 100% confidence wise?

This week is going to be a big game for LRT, last year Charlie Gardiner absolutely killed him, I thught it was his worst performance, it will be interesting to see what happens this year.

We should certainly see some freakin' changes if we give up 15 goals again. And those changes should involve the following:

What on earth this kid did to get dropped is beyond me. I'm open to being corrected, but unlike most players in their first 25-ish games, I reckon he's yet to play a single shocker in a Swans guernsey. Unflappable under pressure, plays for the defensive unit rather than just covering his man, kept a cool head throughout the extraordinary tightness of the 2005 finals series... etcetera.
