      Superstar was David.

The club stuffed his football career by playing him injured.

Then palmed him off to Collingwood. But to face reality, David Young injured was a better player than a number of others in the team at the time.

how about we get skilton and kelly together to pick someone they like and be done with it.
then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know

I've changed my mind on the whole retiring jumper thing....

              ( for JF)

I think that it should stay retired until someone named wither Bob kelly or Paul Skilton comes along

i have always thought kirky would be deserving of #14 because he really represents the Bloods for who we are, & he is such a spiritual leader on field & off.

however at the moment I think kellys number should be left vacant until some young kid shows the swans that he is deserving of it. I like the idea of kieran jack but he has to prove himself.
We will mourn, but it will make us stronger....watch out AFL Sydney will be back in 2007 come September

dont forget billy picken wore #14 when he moved over from collingwood..
i think maybe borrow the idea from richmond .that #17 is ther captains jumper . We should perhaps make #14 our captains jumper

And how exactly would that work with our three captains?

give it to a dead-set dud (the usual suspects please) so everyone realises it's just a number. of course my plan may backfire and chambers/spriggs/matthews evolves into a 300 game triple-premiership brownlow-winning captain but i'd probably find a positive in that too....

I reckon they are saving it for Roos kids. They are probably wearing it when they havea kick2kick in the back yard.
