I don't get it. I think he's one of our most consistent performers and does his job every week.

He also has the best legs in the team IMO - people shouldn't dismiss the importance of this.

I quite enjoy watching him play.
Still think he has a way to go but I remember quite a few Swans who played a lot like him at times.

Remember the errors Jude used to make (all the time)
And Fosdike took ages to get to where he got.
ROK was well and truely written off at times and is now one of our most valuable players.

Give him more time....

He is my favourite player, however I think he has to live with the stigma of who his uncle is, if his name wasn't Ablett, people would probably be happy with his progress.

I wonder if he's been a victim of the Swans style of play.

We know he's strong overhead and has a great boot, and does very well one on one. If there was room in the forward line you might wonder how he'd go up there (a la cousin Gary)(2004 PF).

I just have a feeling he's been pulled back skillwise because our style of play (stoppages + fast breaks = very little one on one).

Roos encourages one on one and beating your direct opponent. If Noggy had the skills in the first place, he wouldn't have been moulded into the defensive midfielder he is now.

At least I agree NMW.

I think if he could correct the slow to react and think bit he would be a much better player.

On Saturday he got pinged again for holding the ball because he didn't react quickly enough. He should have got the boot to the ball.

A little later he found himself in the same position and he slammed it onto the boot and it went about 25 metres into our forward line to our advantage. It looked like there was no way he was going to get done for in possession again.

Imagine if we had 20 odd like him? we would be sitting lower than the titanic! Seriously the guy gives 110% but its not enough unfortunatley we lack anyone better at the minute.
