Maybe, interesting that he felt 2000 was not a great year for him, but still finished 3rd in the B&F. One of the things that makes him such a great player I suppose.

He would have got back into form for sure. A change of scene obviously did wonders for him though, the Swans seem to be every good at providing that for high profile Melbourne players. From what I have read, Collingwood fans were not pleased to see him go and have been very pleased for him racking up his 300th. You just have to wonder, thats all....I mean it is Willo.

Paul Williams played for Collingwood I thought he came to Sydney because his shop went broke in Tassie and he needed another career.

Robert Walls has a massive anti Swan agenda. Everytime I watch on the couch, they talk about the swans for 1 minute, then go on and on about the opposition.

        Really annoying.

I didn't think it was such a bad article. Willo played nearly two thirds of his career with the 'pies. You can't deny his background. Despite his achievements there, the last third of his career at the Swans has been the most productive. I remember once hearing Eddie say something along the lines of recognising Willo's career once it was all over. It must be good to be so well liked at the two clubs you've played at. No burnt bridges here.

Yep, I can't recall him being booed when we play Collingwood.

                Lets face it..

Another pro-Melbourne based article, from pro-Melbourne based media. It just constantly bamboozles me as to the crap they spin that is totally not in sync with what is played on ground. It's as if half of the games are not even watched, and just read from the papers by some of those reporters. It's no wonder Swans stuck under the radar last year.. and why Willo left there..

Honest truth is, Willo was a honest, hardworking and decent player for the Pies, and that's why we wanted him. Silky smooth skills and a solid kick. And lets not forget the marks he made in the first 2 goals v Saints in the final!

ANOTHER thanks to his fellow Tassieman Cressa to convincing him with the move over. How much more can he do for us???

Remember the Footy Show, when they said they hope the Swans win, Davis kicks a bag in the finals and Willo plays well too - just to piss off Eddie.

...one of my first "IN YOUR FACE!" thoughts (after thinking about Walls) after our great win in the GF last year.

Another rumour that was floating around at the time of the trade was that Willo had a big fallout with Buckley.

It doesn't really matter now. A premiership player wouldn't have many regrets in life.
