No wonder the Geelong players were just pushing the ball forward and obviously also winning more contests than port. Also no plan for plan B - just kept going through corridor.
I hope we give a better account of ourselves.
Geelong were very quick and Port was chasing tail all game. Port just couldn't handle the pressure. Geelong looked super fit and had so many players 2 way running to contests all over the ground. Geelong had their small players flooding the forward line.

Not sure what to take out of that final. Port were pretty woeful, on the other hand Geelong do look scary-good when they put on that kind of show. Their running was exceptional. They just seem to do finals well, mentally and physically. As we know from (shush) 2022 I guess...

So if I have the combinations correct: win tomorrow and the Swans face one of Port, Dogs or Hawks? Lose tomorrow and they play the winner of Blues-Lions, and if they win that, then the Cats?

        That's correct.

I'm not sure who I want to win tonight. On one hand, I don't think I've forgiven the Bulldogs for 2016, on the other hand, I'd probably be perfectly happy if the Hawks didn't win another final in my lifetime. But then there's the Bulldogs perhaps being more of a threat to us if they get through. But if the Hawks win, then they'd almost certainly be the Victorian media's fairytale side. Which would be unpleasant.

Perhaps it might depend on one side getting seemingly preferential treatment from the umpires, and then I'll end up going for their opponents?

I feel your pain. Who the hell are we supposed to barrack for? I'm still undecided!!

The team I want to win tonight is the team I think we have the best chance of beating. That's Hawthorn.

I can't even hope for injuries and suspensions, because that would just mean an easy game for Port.

It's easy....don't barrack for either....but as a Swans fan, your hatred for the Dogs should be never ending.....so go for the Hawks!

Plus, as Thunder Shaker said, we can more likely beat them in a prelim, should we win tomorrow. Go Hawks!

You make a good point. The Poodles might be scarier to play against. But not as scary as Geelong. They were awesome last night.

You’ve gone soft. It’s the Dogs, and only the Dogs, that need to lose.

Yes, but I had many years of resenting the Hawks, before I even started resenting the Dogs.

Hated Sam Mitchell and the Hawks when they were winning too much. But geez what he is able to get out of so many young players and his coaching tactics have been amazing. Hope they beat up the doggies. Can’t stand them.

Better move the cameras away from those twats in the wizard hats, before it makes me want to go for the Dogs.

There’s a reason I was keen on here for us to get Ginnivan once it was clear he was being squeezed out of the Pies last year. He’s got footy IQ.
