Campbell isn't sub next week.....was huge in that quarter!

After a win like that, should instill the belief that we can go all the way.....but only if we can come out the blocks and play like that for four quarters.

JMac is wearing Campbell’s long sleeved top for some reason.

Great scenes, Taylor celebrating on the ground too.

In two weeks. The rest will be handy after all the pressure the Giants put on. I suppose McInerney becomes sub? Maybe Roberts?

I suspect a few people here are very happy to be proven wrong! With two minutes to go, that last goal by Amartey was an excellent clutch goal. To paraphrase the TV commentary: not his day, but was his moment.

Give credit where it's due though. The GWS defence did very well to prevent marks inside 50 all game. Good game by both sides, and that was best 2024 final so far.

I have two step daughters. One of them WILL be marrying Isaac Heeney.

Isaac Heeney: he's what the result would be, if a committee of mums and grandmas were given the task of designing a new and improved version of Dustin Martin.

Tonight I eat humble pie. Wow, I did not expect to win. Amartey would have been the first player to drop. Now I don’t know.

Surely Adams and Fox come in for the prelim?

Let’s be real, we were beaten for most of the game. We need more strategies. We won’t always win from 5 goals down, especially against Geelong or Hawks.

Just looking at the stats, Rowbottom is listed as having 43 pressure acts. Which seems exceptional. And Heeney had 18 contested possessions, to go with all the brilliance.

Big question for me is how do we fix our defence ? It’s comedy show back there at the moment
