Has to be in the 22, no doubt at all. Just finished watching the 4th quarter again - he was absolutely huge in that last quarter.

Wonder if Roberts could be the unlucky one (assuming Macca is fit?) - he struggled a bit at times in that second half, but equally like Campbell could be a potent weapon against tired legs late.

Wow! What a game. I didn't go as I still have PTSD from the last Giants/Swans final where we lost by 50points at the SCG. I remember the despair sweeping the O Riley stand, bet it was a bit different at the end of the game today. I also had to take a walk during the fourth quarter today as the stress was too much.

How good was Papley? How good was Isaac? How great was Campbell? Wow!

I think the people who deserve all the credit are our fitness coaches. We have won so many games this year by simply being fitter than the opposition. To me, that happened again today. The Giants got tired and the game opened up, Heeney, Warner and Gulden started getting the ball and the rest was history.

That Prelim atmosphere will be something else - I can not wait. Will be especially ferocious if its the horrid Hawks, but will be a great one if its Port too, as we will have a massive point to prove.

Not always (there has been some standout games over the years) of course and probably quite unfair, but I've always had a nagging feeling that we don't always get the '19th man' benefit you hope to in close games at home from the ability of crowds to really will the team home. But this year has felt really, really different. At the Pies game a few weeks ago, and then again tonight - when the surge started on the field, the crowd was like a huge wave - it was really, really loud, and really special. Hope it isn't needed in a fortnight's time, but the players must really feed off that energy at the moment - knowing if they are close and can find that moment or two, the crowd will help bring it home!

A bloke in the dunny (swans) at the 3/4 time break announced to everyone “They (The Giants) are not far enough ahead.” So
we all felt much better after that - and so it came to pass (oops - sorry).

With 10 mins to go one daughter had to leave to catch the last train to the Gong - you’d reckon that could have been rescheduled by 1/2 an hour on this particular night.

Anyway I’m off to therapy and will be sedated for some time.

the line. But you'll take it. GWS are the real deal with great players all over the park and they came to play. Brisbane struggle a bit when they are
not at the Gabba, so I think GWS will beat them at home. Then they have Geelong which will be tough. On our side of the draw, I reckon at some
stage Hawthorn will get a bit over awed by the situation. Also, If Port are smart they'll bash the Hawthorn kids up a little bit and send them back to
playing with their phones again.

Port and Hawthorn bashing each other would be a good outcome for us. And I am starting to think that there's a reasonable chance of a Swans v GWS grand final. Although, we gave GWS a much more tiring game, than Carlton gave Brisbane.

Let’s be real, we were beaten for most of the game. We need more strategies. We won’t always win from 5 goals down, especially against Geelong or Hawks.

In the end what counts is the score when the fat lady sings.

Can't have Adams or Fox over any of the players that played yesterday.

I actually think Buckley did that intentionally. An instinctive act. Shows excellent character. Heeney credited him when speaking to Fox after the game.

And seemed to quickly check on him, too. I watch most Giants games, Buckley comes across as a good sportsman.

Just saw that Campbell’s grandpa died yesterday, which makes what he did even more meritorious.

Remarkable composure from such a young person to be able to work through those emotions, deal with what I am sure is a lot of building additional anxiety sitting as the sub whilst your team is getting beaten around a bit, then come on and play the way he did. A truly impressive display of resilience.

I predicted an all Sydney GF at the start of the year with us winning. Which would great to see if happens. GWS beat both Brisbane and Geelong away during the
H & A. They are a team of hard asses as we found out yesterday. Tom Green especially is right up there with Isaac, Bont etc as the best players in the comp.
But as per usual you always need a bit of luck to run your way in tight games. I think we'll roll over whoever we play in the Prelim. It's good to finally have the
big time crowd thing on our side as we did yesterday.

I believe Roberts look like he was carrying an injury as he was not moving as usual. For the record I believe Heeney is currently the best player in the AFL. Sorry Mr Daicos.

I dint think anything was wrong with Roberts he just struggled to handle the the speed and pressure of his first final, but his first few league games were the same so I reckon he will step it up

I want to know more about this Buckley character who helped Heeneys descent from outer space. “He did a Buckley,” will surely become a legendary moniker for someone who helps another in a genuine
pickle.

Question for those with more knowledge than I have....Rampe shadowed Greene most of the day right? Is Rampe usually calling the shots in the backline? Did his focus on Greene result in some confusion in the backline? Just asking....
