Are they though? I'm not 100% convinced. Brisbane are a very good football side - but if they were guaranteed better pound for pound, they'd be top of the ladder and would have enjoyed the cushy run we did from finishing top. But no - they had to do it the hard way to get here. The game earlier in the year showed how close the teams are - they enjoyed home ground advantage that way, we had little luck on the day with injuries, and they still only just held on. At a neutral ground (that arguably neither team plays that well - although again I think that is overplayed) its going to be a fairly different scenario.

Brisbane are a very fine football team - but in no way do I think we have to play the 'perfect game' to win. We aren't underdogs, and we aren't a mile behind them. We have to play very well to win - sure. But equally so do they - neither team is going to win the flag if they aren't near their best.

The betting has us as favourites but the media tipping seems to be favouring Brisbane from what i've observed so far this week (OTC Lyon, Brown & Bucks all tipped Brisbane).

Wave of euphoria after their epic wins in the last 2 weeks & feelings of redemption after last year's GF loss. They do have advantage of having played at MCG in front of big crowd last week.

Listened to David Hoyne rattling off all these boring stats on SEN last night which seem to favour Brisbane compared to us.

However i think our best is the best in the competition. Also wondering if Brisbane's tough runs & travel in the last few weeks may catchup with them late in the game?

I get feeling Horse won't take risk with Mills if he's not 100% right after today's test. A fit Fox or Adams will be better options.

I’m sorry, but Matt Stevic AND Simon Meredith are umpiring on Saturday. The two umpires that destroyed us in the 2016 GF, and made it incredibly difficult (21-10 free kicks) in the 2012 GF.

All three of the Access All Areas cast (Damien Barrett, Matthew Lloyd and Nat Edwards) picked the Swans to win.

Hoyne also said the Dogs had the best profile, by far, heading into finals.

If Mills plays I really can't see how Campbell isn't the sub.

This Mills circus is a joke.

He has been in bad form (game against the Giants was rubbish) and is a massive chance of breaking down. Should absolutely not play.

Horse obviously has an amazing relationship with him but seems to be blinded by it.

Robbie Fox as the sub gives us everything we need.

Im Quite the opposite, he is Captain, and an All Australian.
If he is fit he plays, Brissy have a heaps of small fwds.

If he can go 100% today he should play.
If he is 10% off he doesnt.

Id suggest its awareness and not a tear for him to even be considered let alone running

Reid did his injury half time in a Prelim, that was a ridiculous call to play.

So which fully fit player are you dropping and which fully fit player are you making sub to have Mills play in the 22?
