    Brownlow Medal 2024

With the Brownlow medal count to be decided this week, this topic is sure to be rehashed.

Heeney, in this column’s view, has also been the most influential or impactful player in the competition this year, but is ineligible to win the game’s “highest individual honour,” the Brownlow Medal.”

Heeney's suspension and the follow up appeal process were two acts of sheer vindictiveness from this mickey mouse Victorian league IMO. It smacked of 'lets put these NSW upstarts in their place'.....much like the 2016 GF. I thought it was disgusting.

Harley Reid just won Goal of the Year.....it was good but goal of the year? Not sure about that.

Bobby Hill just won Mark of the Year.....fair enough but Isaac's from two weeks ago was better.

Not enjoying the non existent recognition of our Isaac by McLoughlin et al. He is basically invisible in this process, despite currently being in the lead. Quite the farce.

Unable to paste here, but someone has posted a screenshot before it was taken down of a Nick Daicos signed 2024 Brownlow Medalist jumper on the AFL store - $2999.

That was a joke. Photoshopped. They had the afterpay installements at 4 x $7.50
Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sector

What's a joke is that Isaac should have won this thing. He has been the best player of the year. His suspension was an obvious Vicbias snub

Chad Warner doing better than expected in the count, 6 more votes than "expected". Currently joint leader!

Isaac Heeney has 21 votes after round 10. Paul Kelly won with 21 votes in 1995.

I usually don't wear green, but I do like Errol's green suit. Is it green velvet?

At this stage (after round 11), I think Cripps is going to win it with 36 votes.
