Yeah Adams was very busy, loves a contest and has excellent hands, but kicking still hit or miss. And gave away heaps of frees.
Fox, Roberts and Francis were also solid, with Green and Snell the pick of the youngsters.

Summed it up correctly. Good 1st quarter but pretty ordinary after that. Adams was good but no one else stood out.

I suspect they gave us a goal that should have went to Essendon. Commentators haven't cottoned on.

    Q3: 12.9 v 6.7
A bit scrappy. Will Green has made really solid improvements in his all round game compared to early in the year. Strong defensive mark backing into a pack there.

Fairly uninspiring quarter. What with the very strong wind, a bit of rain and perhaps some overconfidence. I liked Green in the middle and he now seems to be a reliable set shot. Adams has got plenty of clearances. Mitchell, Bice and Roberts have been useful rebounding.

Bombers improved and were kicking with the wind. A number of Swans appeared to struggle when kicking for goal, so it must be a fair breeze.

In round 7 they smashed us by 65 points, we had 10 listed players to their 13. Injuries make such a difference.

This is a very lopsided match - Swans dominating all over the ground. Essendon 7 AFL listed players vs. our 13.
Might switch to the AFLW practice match...

Weather permitting I was hoping to go along to the VFL game tomorrow to see first hand how the academy players performed. Cannot understand why they are not playing, does anyone know?

Edit: I've just checked, and the next U17 game isn't until next weekend.

I see that all four of our U18 academy prospects are missing from the VFL side. Do they have other commitments? Is there a limit on how many VFL games U18s can play? I can't imagine they've been omitted for form/talent given who has come into the team.
