Heeney played one mother of a game and Chad is worth every cent. Wicks does it again, McInerney had some McInerney moments but was good (we will miss him next week, anyone in reserves who might replace him….), McCartin terrific, Sheldrick encouraging first half, and I thought Campbell had a very good second half.
There was a youngster in no 14 in the VFL team who was smooth and classy for the half he played. They might prefer to give him another VFL game but might not have the choice.

      Adams was decent enough too.

I really liked Campbell’s game. I thought he was great the whole way through. Wicks had another very good game too. That run down tackle deep in defence was perfect. It would have been so easy to give away a free.

Sadly, given I’ve been one of his louder cheer leaders, Corey had a bit of a shocker tonight.

Surely JMac's record counts against him however.

Amartey I guess a week, but who knows. Wasn't helped by Macca bumping the blues player into him as well, but not sure what he was thinking either trying to bump there.

Yep hasn't been a lot to crow about this season - but any win over the cardboard blues is a mighty win!

I thought Campbell attacked the ball hard tonight - he seems such a confidence player, so hoping that really important goal in the last might be a catalyst for a big upswing in form.

Corey is doing a lot right - but his decision making and execution tonight with ball in hand was not great.

If only Isaac had of packed his kicking boots - was a great game, but would have been one of the all time great games from him. Still reckon he looks a fair way off 100% - hasn't got the usual leap and poise in the marking contest, nor the endurance he usually has. But his work in the 2nd half when we needed someone to stand up to be counted was out of this world.

From what I've read, a players history only counts against them if they go to the tribunal

If it's a Classifiable offence, it is as it stands

Bice and Corey, on shakey ground

Corey turning into traffic, Bice a little too cute, 1 of them will be sub, 1 in the 2s

Adams and Mills in, Sheldrick definitely stays, Mclean in

                      Amartey, Francis out, Jmac maybe

Loved Campbell using his pace and was very clean tonight

Depends if the Carlton player is actually concussed, or if he was just shaken up.
Regarding McInerney, he only had eyes for the ball. OK, he’s not Merrett, but Silvagni injured his hammy, he didn’t seem concussed. But who knows with the MRO; it’s a lottery.

The Carlton player is concussed and struggling according to Voss. So Armatey Gawn I’m afraid.

Good o. I've long given up on bothering worrying about how the tribunal works because its a pure lottery anyway, so thought that was still a thing.

I guess it makes sense though, given players like Butters and Greene are up to umpteen Million $ worth of fines but never get suspended haha!

I'd stick with Bice before Corey in any changes. He is just at that stage of learning that AFL footy isn't easy week in week out.

I want to see Corey succeed, but his decision making and disposal is just awful at times. You've got to hit a bloke 2 foot away with a handball, not handball to his feet as he did a few times tonight. Corey does a lot right - he can get the pill, but sometimes overthinks it instead of focusing on executing.

Given we will have a few enforced changes, I think they'll probably not want to rock the boat further than they have to. Can't see either Amartey or JMac escaping the hangman's noose, and Francis an obvious out. I just wish Buller was showing a bit more then has been in recent weeks in ressies - I really think he could bring something different to the other forwards at seniors level, but isn't knocking the door down.

A pity about the Blues player having concussion. For him and Amartey; having an actual forward really helped us, and he got better as the night wore on.
