WTF! Somehow the Suns pegged them back! One point win.....that last goal review which changed their goal to a point actually helped them.

David Swallow. First Sun picked in the draft, last one standing. 248 games, first final. Match winner.

Fun fact: Gold Coast have now won more finals in the last twenty years than Essendon.

The Suns must surely have been the last club standing?

Adelaide have steadied nicely, after being jumped early by Hawthorn. And you have to chuckle at the sight of Hawthorn defenders in high dudgeon, after giving away a high contact free, when they have Ginnivan and Watson in their forward line.

For the record, I categorise Watson as a very small forward. He's almost short enough to run beneath the legs of taller players.

Well, that quarter was a hard watch, with Hawthorn slowly strangling Adelaide.

With the olde worlde lettering on the Hawthorn jumper arranged as F H C, I'm wondering if that's pronounced as @@@@?

Adelaide are in real danger of going out in straight sets.

Their entire season was put in jeopardy the moment Rankine opened his homophobic mouth.

                              And ... they're out.

Adelaide are the first minor premier to suffer that fate since North Melbourne in 1983.

FWIW, our old mate Dawson had two shockers in the finals. Guess that’s what you get when you make a disloyal rat your skipper.
