    Haha

They only lost by 4 or more goals twice all year, unlucky for them it was their 2 home finals.

Not often we get to have a crack at another teams performance this time of year but I'll take it when I can

I was genuinely surprised at that stat. I appreciate as a minor premier you're obviously having a pretty decent year, but I didn't expect it to be that many years since one had managed to have a couple of bad games back to back (even factoring they should generally have been home games).
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

        Farewell Dawson ?

it is an odd stat, I would have guessed that port were minor premiers one of the years they went out in straight sets.

I know I should probably be wanting the Suns to win tonight but i find the prospect of a Collingwood/Brisbane prelim more enticing than a Collingwood/ Suns one.

The 2 Qld teams are putting on a very entertaining game so far!

4 Game FF at 19yr, Sydney would make him wait 2yrs for those games and he be sub for another year

Than another club will come for him

Unfortunately our form has been a bit poor in this regard. I can’t get over how we lost a player like Darcy Cameron, for example! Crm memory, he played 1 game- admittedly he didn’t get a kick, but come on- you don’t discard a tall without a run of games. This year Buller should have been introduced a lot earlier, even though his form in the ressies didn’t necessarily warrant it. You need to give young players a go when there’s an opening and then give them a run of games.

                  No i don't mean like a Pick 4 in a Draft

Or the same Logan that we dropped for a final for a bloke that lasted a qtr

Ty Gallops 3rd and 4th game have been finals, that takes guts as a coach

Take a look at Cats last selected side.

Outside if Holmes, Smith and Neale who are you chasing for a future build ?

Have a look at that team, there are no stars, we would still play Cam Guthrie, Duncan, Bews, they move them on.

Leaving Jez, Stewart out of it due to their age

Brissy are stacked but they still managed to play 8 under 22, including 2 talls who normally " take a bit of time to come on"

Lions vs Suns a disappointing contest in the end, but perhaps not surprising. Third-placed seasoned finals campaigners vs seventh-placed first time finalists.

So on to the prelims. This week in "how to make it all about the Pies", The Age has really surpassed itself with a headline about a game in which they aren't even playing.

The mother of all preliminary finals takes centre stage, with Pies the support act

Port Adelaide have been minor premiers four times. They did not go out in "straight sets".
