I like Rosas and Serong. They seem to have some football skills...some of our players don't seem to have any skills at all.

You knew something good was going to happen, when the ball went towards Gulden in the pocket. Well done to Rosas, too.

That play from Chad leading to the Rosas goal was something special

We know that when we play one of the big Vic clubs that the Umps will be a bit ummmm one way...the team must play better to overcome that...seriously, with our talent, we should be walking all over them. This is a terrible display..I hope the real swans come out after the break...

Its the same old insert random decision here while missing blatantly obvious ones two seconds later.

But we have been bloody terrible to this point. Fumbly, basic skills errors, can barely hit a barn door.

Very happy with Rosas and Serong however - they've been good.

This is the worse I have seen them play since Adelaide smashed them last year. If we are going to present this rubbish we can forget about playing finals. It almost embarrassing to watch.

I can't watch anymore.....I've had a bad vibe all week about this match.....and of course, the umps are just being ****s. 7 to 12 free kick count.

How can the team produce this puke after looking at least competent in the pre-season games? I'm off to watch a movie and will just keep the fingers crossed.

Half time observations: Why did Warner start in the forward line. Start your best mids in the midfield.
Logan McDonald is not a ruckman. So we go in without another ruck.
Can Mills and Blakey make anymore mistakes and poor disposals.
Sheldrick is as slow as a wet week. Horrible kick.
Carlton are way quicker than us.
Papley and Rowbottom started on the bench.

Errol must be injured. He’s spending a lot of time forward and his defensive running efforts are flat out awful.

What an ordinary first half and a miserable start to the second.
The biggest positive is this is round 0 and you can't win a premiership this early in the season.

Lovely handball into space by Errol for that McInerney goal.
