channel 10 usually get the block buster games which on this occasion is the cats vs pies game now im not saying that the dogs swans isnt going to be a block buster but you would think more people would tune into a game where 2 melbourne clubs are playing.

Fox footy last season had the swans vs cats match live, crows vs swans at aami & also eagles vs swans at subi. they usually do a good job but the commentating can get really one sided which turns me off watching the game.
Forget about Hall, it's all about Bradshaw

      It's @@@@@@.

      Guess what?

The VAST majority of Collingwood or Geelong supporters can drive to see the game.

I can to, but it's a long 8 hours each way.

If I was a Dirty Dogs supporter I'd be pissed off.
Two Melb based teams playing down here is covered yet a Melb based team playing at the same time interstate isn't

At least it's on radio, a couple of years ago that wasn't an option.

      And @@@@ pay tv.
I don't want it at all.

Anyway, I'm going out for Greek dinner tonight, I'll see the result if I can manage to figure out how to log on when I get home.

Here's to a great win, and to all the people in Sydney who get to see the game, either live or on free to air tv

That is the bizarre thing. Most sports they won't show live unless it is a sell out.

          The verdict?
You're remarkably silent on this one. Did you get to watch the game, Cher?
And you can't find nothing at all,

I listened to it on radio.
I laughed at your suggestion that I go to a pub in Geelong to watch it on Foxtel. That would be pretty difficult when Geelong are on the tv as well, most public places would choose to play the Geelong game on TV.
This town is very biased with their footy and there are many Geelong members who only go to games that are played in Geelong.

From previous posts, I'm guessing a brain.

I like to watch games other than the Swans, and they aren't often on. I had to wait til after 10:30pm last week for Pies/WC on Fox Footy, which was arguably the game of the round and one in which I had great interest.
Tragic news. Only left 1 hr 30 mins before you turned into a pumpkin.

More likely the capacity to be one-eyed about the Swans.

I feel bad for those suffering South-Melbourne supporters, but it comes down to one thing.. the "EDDIE" factor..

Going to Lakeside after the GF, even being a Sydney-sider supporter for over 10 yrs, I really know that we are STILL the Sydney / South-Melbourne Football Club, and forever shall be..

We should have another "home office" base down there.. maybe get Maxfield on it..

We already do and Tony Morwood heads it up, that's why we have so many of us as Melb based members.

We can all breathe a sigh of relief, then, now that Morwood's on the job.
