While it would have been fantastic to dish out a 150-point thumping, I'm content that we won convincingly and gained a significant percentage boost.

Missing a few set shots shows an area that the team can focus on in training during the week. Set shots will not be as plentiful next week against the rampaging Suns so we need to make them count.

A comprehensive slaughter. If we’d kicked straight in the last quarter it would have been another 200 point humiliation.
Agree with comments regarding Curnow and Amartey; Joel now believes in his own abilities, too.

I reckon you could throw North supporters in there, too. Scum.

Agree. Wicks is surpassing all my expectations of him. Much to my delight. I hope that in the long term he makes me look even sillier

In the metres gained stat, Wicks had 556. Which might be a personal best? Strangely, the only one who topped that, was Papley with 575.

And to think, if we kicked straight from set shots, it’d have been even a bigger smashing. Not much to say, and either Isaac or Brodie could be BOG, JJ was terrific and good on Paps for his milestone.

But the game I loved was Serong. He just does everything right. My Hawks mate told me he’d be a great pick up and he was right.

Heeney is off the ground and will take no further part in the game. No injury. Stars on ice.

I really enjoyed that game when we got 205 points and Kayo is STILL talking up West Coast...
